Port Canavaral and Alamo drop off

Has anyone recently used the Shuttle buses from the Alamo rental drop of building on Mullet road at Port Canavaral? I’ve read a lot about long waits for shuttle buses and people taking ages to get to the terminal building as well as it all been a bit chaotic at the Alamo building.

 

So can anyone answer me the following?

 

is there a decent number of shuttle buses, we are hoping to get there for about 10:30 and are going to the Royal Caribbean terminal. Apparently there is only Harmony of the seas and a Disney ship leaving that day.

 

what time do the shuttle buses start?

 

is it walkable with luggage?

 

if we want to taxi to the terminal are there taxis, or do we Uber/Lyft?

I am planning on doing this too, but the terminal and rental drop off are within walking distance. I'll drop off my wife with the luggage, drop off the car and walk back. Much less than a mile.
