Edge drink package allowed in cabins

Hello, I am in a cabin with my granddaughter. For health reasons, I am not allowed alcohol.I would like to buy her a drink package. In Royal Caribbean, I am required to purchase a package also unless I can prove that I am not allowed to drink. What is Celebrity’s policy.

I would just ask my doctor to write a note and offer to fax that to reservations. Buy her drink package by phone, that way they can notate your account.

Thank you , does that mean Celebrity requires everybody in the cabin to have a package?

No Celebrity does not require everyone in the cabin to purchase a package.  You can buy a package just for your granddaughter.   however if the Beverage package is selected as a booking perk then both must chose the same perk.

Celebrity treats us like adults. I just hope Celebrity cruisers don't mess it up (sharing) like some RC cruisers did. But we always get the CBP as one of the Go perks.

Just off Celebrity yesterday and only one of us purchased the drinks package when we boarded. No problem.

If you buy it at the time of booking, you both must buy it.  After that, you can buy the package for her alone.

Thank you cruisetitch,  have not bought it at booking.  I will just wait for a sale as our trip is not until August, then buy. Crossing my fingers!!

I don't drink and when drink packages aren't included I buy a Premium Package for my spouse but none for me.   No problem at all.
