Luggage direct

We are on the Koningsdam right now and are somewhat confused by the luggage direct program that we have used on previous cruise lines.  We are flying Southwest and the program states it only accepts Southwest for Saturday flights?  Am I reading this right?  Just seems odd that it only works on Saturday disembarks.

That's very odd, since you are at HMC on Saturday!  Better ask the front desk.

That is odd.  When we used it in January it said Southwest flights 11:30-6pm.  Yes, check with front desk.  We loved the service.

Typo...  We used it yesterday with no problems at all.  Really nice to not have to schlep our bags, especially since we went out for breakfast before heading to the airport.

I always appreciate the knowledge available from people on the forums!  I've never used a luggage service.  Where might I find some information about this?  We'll be cruising from Papeete to San Diego in March 2020.  Thanks!

The service that HAL calls Luggage Direct is only available in Ft Lauderdale and Seattle, but you may be able to use Luggage Forward. See page 17 of KBYG.pdf (Know Before You Go)

Glad to hear that the "luggage direct" service is now available on the Koningsdam.  It was not last Oct-Nov. on our 2018 TA cruise.
