arima22 Posted October 19, 2022 #26 Posted October 19, 2022 Boarded Marina yesterday. Had submitted dietary needs for wife through TA 3 weeks ahead of cruise. We were on board an hour, having lunch in Terrace, when a restaurant manager approached my wife to discuss gluten free procedures for dining in all venues through the cruise. He had a list of people who had submitted dietary needs which included their registration photos and was tracking each down on first day. Really an in depth discussion on what the Oceania staff would due to assist in meeting her needs. Dinner in GDR last night multiple staff members assisted in making sure food she selected was gluten free, made substitution for some items in a specific dish. Menus for all future dinners will be printed and left in state room 24-48 hours in advance, she makes her selection, turns in the morning of the dinner, staff reviews and go over her selections, discuss when seated at dinner. 2
