Day 3 – Great Stirrup Cay.
Awesome experience. Purchased a small cabana. A little pricey, but enjoyed that our breve age package worked on the island. Buffet lunch of burgers, hot dogs provided near the beach. Did not make it to the larger buffet of Abado Taco.

Day 4 – Nassau
Canaveral had two boats in port, so it wasn’t TOO crowded. Excursion to Blue Lagoon. After some chaos (there were probably a few hundred of us) loaded onto boats and after a 20-minute boat ride arrived at the private island. BEAUTIFUL. They first dock and let the “animal” excursions of first and pivot the boat to let the beach goers off. Off to the right is a private “VIP” area with day beds for $56 and a buffet lunch. We opted for this upgrade. But in all honesty, you could find a beach chair almost anywhere and have a great time without purchasing upgrades. They have umbrellas, clam shells, water sports and other beach areas available for purchase. They are completing some upgrades and adding onto Serenity Cove.

Days 5-6 Sea Days
Spent our mornings working out, having breakfast at Haven and lounging around the pool. Evening cocktail hour at the bar and dinner and a show. And maybe some time in the casino. Our final night we saw Choir of Man – a MUST. A total MUST for any cruiser. Some couples commented they saw it several times.

Thoughts –
A great cruise as always. Met some great people. After sailing on breakaway class ships the last two cruises, we are ready for a smaller experience. I am excited to learn more as the Leonardo class comes out in the next few years. A blend of the breakaway experience with the jewel class size.

Our concierge could have been more attentive. His assistance was more involved in out day to day lives then he was. The two Haven bartenders Bronko and Shah were the best we have had. Very attentive, personable and made great drinks.
Food at Cagney’s and Le Bristo excellent as always. We tried Tapas and it was also very good. Teppanyaki is – well teppanyaki.

Do you know if the Choir of Man has moved to the main theatre?

Thanks

Choir of Man was in the main theater. The Supper Club had The Company Men and The Rocket Man Experience. There may have been others but those are the only two I noticed in TSC.
