Emerald starts at 55 points. Even in a suite you won't hit Emerald.

Regardless you don't change status during a cruise....points accumulate at the completion of a cruise and get posted one to two weeks after.

Quick questions! Looking for options for lunch when boarding that is not the windjammer. Is Hooked open for lunch when you  board and what is the price? Do they have a la carte prices? Was Loco Fresh open when you boarded? Thanks in advance. Just really want to avoid the windjammer when we board!

I believe chops is open for lunch on embarkation day. Best place to check is cruise planner.  Happy planning

To Dry For is open 8am-10pm everyday.

You can book by calling a number on the cruise compass or go in and book. They were out on the promenade taking bookings the morning of Formal Night for later that day.

We were going to the Viking Lounge tonight, currently on hold as having to wait for maintenance to come to our room. If not tonight, tomorrow!

Thank you so much.  I really appreciate it and your informative information ❤️ We are so excited for this cruise for so many reasons

Bamboo Room- Great decor, but in all honesty I prefer the cocktails in some of the other bars. But 10/10 for theme. (Drink is a Mojito)

I'm a huge tiki fan and was really looking forward to this bar...obviously, from pictures, the decor is great. Any reason why you prefer cocktails from other bars? Are these from Bamboo Room just not made right or do other bars make better cocktails?

Also, any info on Izumi? Are they still doing the $49.99 prix fix?

I bet this is personal preference, because they are my favorite drinks onboard! My husband is more of a classic cocktail guy, so a lot of the Bamboo Room cocktails were too sweet for him.

EmilyJay...are you hearing about any water problems on the ship right now?

Not heard of any problems.

It’s literally just personal preference for me. I love the bar itself, I just prefer the cocktails which are included in the drinks package elsewhere. For me the Viking Lounge has the best selection of cocktails.

Izumi, I’ll get back to you on.

@first time cruiser pat We went to the Viking Lounge last night, the picture is not the best due to low lighting in there.

However, it’s a lovely room with plenty of seating, it looks like it’s been refurbished. It’s all light/ dark grey themed and the drinks menu is excellent, especially as all the cocktails are included in the drinks package at under $13.

If we go back during the day I’ll try and get some more pictures.

Hi @EmilyJay thanks again for all the fab updates and information and for posting the Daily Planner. If there's any chance at some point you could post the other page with the different restaurant options and hours of operation it would be much appreciated... do wait till you're home if you're taking them home with you, as I don't want to intrude further on your holiday. 🙂

Paulette, what didn't you like about El Loco Fresh? What did your husband like?

Just not impressed with the offerings....things looked like they had been out too long; the beans did not look appetizing to me.   I ended up taking a pre-packaged salad with some of the shredded pork (which was a little dry)...and some chips.  I did like that they had fruit cut up in ready to go cups with lids.

DH is an even easier foodie than me.....if he is hungry and we had just come back from an excursion and so he was hungry --  he will find something and not care.  Then follow it up with frozen treat, and he is good to go.

What they served there could have been put in the Jammer.....I would have preferred the 'Mini Bites' place that we had on Harmony a couple of years ago....hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, fruit....'outdoor BBQ' type stuff.

How much were they charging for Jamie's onboard? We have a BOGO package but I'm willing to add in a third with a BOGOF option :)

Thx for all postings EmilyJay.  I will be on NOTS 4/12/19 - 4/21/19. Questions - 1) Did you participate in the Meet & Mingle (if so, what was that day/time of this gathering); 2) Is the Diamond Lounge open 24/7? (D+ & above member used to have access to the concierge lounge which is now for suite guests only);  3) Do they offer a coffee card for Starbucks? (I don't need all the extras that comes w/the replenish packages): & 4) Do they have a smoking section in the casino or only the 2 sections of the ship you previously mentioned)?

Looking forward to seeing all the changes since we cruised this same ship/itinerary last year (hopefully the winds will be calm & we can make it to Aruba this time) ~

Thanks Emily! I think So Loco Fresh may be the ticket when we board!

Jamie’s was $39.99 onboard (minus the 18%) but only on the first night they did this.

For us using £ it worked out £2 more expensive than booking on the cruise planner prior to sailing.

1. We didn’t participate in the meet and mingle, but I think it was the first sea day in the morning which would have been day 2.

2. Diamond d Lounge/ Club states it’s open all day, with breakfast 7am-10am and bar 4.30m-8pm.

3. Not sure about Starbucks, I will see if I can find out next time I go by.

4. Smoking is deck 4, in the casino and also deck 12 there is a little area.

Oh no did you not make it to Aruba last time? We had some strong winds upon arrival, the docking process seemed to take alot longer than usual.
