Turtle Farm Questions

1. Can cruise ship passengers buy a ticket at the gate?

 

2. Are taxi's lined up at the turtle farm to bring people back to the port?

 

3. Is it easy to take the bus to the turtle farm and back?

We went in November.

Bought turtle farm tickets at the door.

Taxi took us from port....kinda far....over 20 minutes away.

No taxis at turtle farm for return.....there's an outdoor podium with a few turtle farm employees , they will call u a cab....we had to wait a bit for one to take us to 7 mile beach after the turtle farm.

We took a taxi to the Turtle Farm, $16, we gave him $20, the taxi driver gave us his card and said to show it inside, we did and got it for $11 instead of $18. After we went across the street to the dolphin centre just to watch for a bit, we then caught a bus right away,$2.50 ea. back to 7 mile beach , near Calico Jack's and went for a swim. Then we took the bus back to the port area.

This is exactly what our plan is, turtle farm for a visit then to to 7 mile beach.  Are there any suggestions that you want to offer?

What would you like to know? We got off the cruise and right in front of us there were people asking where you want to go. We said we wanted a taxi to the Turtle Farm. So they showed us to the left area through a fenced area to some mini vans. On the way back , we saw a bus across the street, we waved and they came and got us.

You can take the bus there too, but we thought it would be quicker than finding where to get the bus.

We just got back from GC, and the Turtle Farm. Took the bus (which is just a van). It was easy to get to, and cost us $2.50 pp each way. I would recommend that option.

Is the $18 option good enough?  There are 4 adults and one child.  Although the water slide/pool looks fun,  I think we’d rather swim at 7 Mile Beach.

I'm not sure, we did the full version, which was about $25pp after their online discount.

Wow, that’s a great discount. I only saw the $45 option.

I know they have been running a 20% off too.
