Gate 1 monarch princess Danube River cruise

We are doing a Gate 1 monarch princess Danube River cruise In March 2019.  Has anyone done the river cruise in March?  We are hoping it won’t be too cold.  The cruise will start in Passau and end in Budapest.  We are staying in Prague a few nights before we start the cruise.  Any tips will be helpful.  Thanks

We're doing that one on April 6th and wonder just how cold it might be!

I hope you have a few hours in Passau as the town is great. Do have a look at the Dom (cathedral).

 

In March it can be chilly at night. Depending whether you sail early or late in the month you will have cool or warm afternoons. There is a slight chance of snow, especially in the hills around Passau. The weather can vary a lot. Getting closer to the date, you could check AccuWeather.com or similar sites.
