Pier290 Posted February 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2019 Hi. Never been to Key West!! Booked trolley tickets.....is it worth it? Not looking for a long boring tour/ride..... looking for an informative tour that will show us most of Key West in a short amount of time.... We are docked 8-5 in September....looking to do the trolley in the morning to see the best of Key West... Yay or nay??

Lorey2007 Posted March 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2019 We took the Trolley when we were in Key West first time this past March. We got off at the Southern most point after about a hour. Walked down to the buoy, stopped at the gift shop then hopped back on. We then got off at the lighthouse & Hemingway house and took the tour we then walked over to Duval St and caught up with the Trolley which took us to the end of the line. Walked around for a few blocks, took in lunch and shops. As seniors that was enough for us & we were glad to have taken the Trolley. We will be back in May and the shuttle will drop us from the Mole to Mallory Square we'll check that out and walk to little Truman house.

Cruise Girl Forever Posted July 19, 2019 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2019 Another yes. I loved the fact that you can hop on and hop off. See a lot of the island. Drivers are very entertaining.
Herfnerd Posted July 19, 2019 #6 Share Posted July 19, 2019 If its your first time - yes. Full loop takes an hour a half or so and gives you a very tour of Key West - if you haven't made any plans, it helps you decide what you might want to stop and see. Its HO/HO with 13 stops - one conveniently located around the corner where we usually stay
