Anyone cruised on st. patricks day?

Recommended Posts

Yes, several times.

There are green beers, and lots of people wearing green.  You will NOT be out of place if you bring the typical tacky hats, glasses, t-shirts, necklaces, etc etc.

I don't remember any ship-wide major events, but several smaller pub-related gatherings.

Have sailed St. Patrick’s Day a few times. Green beer, lots of crazy hats, shirts and loads of green!  Bartender made a delicious Irish colada - kind of like a pina colada made with Baileys and green food coloring - delicious!  One time had a parade of passengers down the promenade. Good times!

My wife's birthday is on St. Patrick's Day. We have been on a cruise several times for her birthday. St. Patrick's Day seems to be a big event on the ship. There will be decorations all over the ship. There will be MANY passengers wearing green attire. The "Drink of the Day" will be something green.
