Best Beach with children

We will be in Aruba in about a month.....this will be my 3rd time but we will have the grandbabies on this trip.

What are the best beaches for kids ages 9, 5 and 14 months?

I will take any suggestions other than beaches also.

The entire beach area is generally very safe (downwind side of the island).  Went swimming last time just beyond the Marriott and water was maybe waist deep, all sand, for a good 100 yards offshore.  Most people congregate at Eagle or Palm but the whole area is beautiful.  Cab about $15 one way or $2.50/pp for city bus.

Occasionally,  Eagle Beach gets strong waves. Palm Beach is consistently calmer. The kids would probably enjoy a trip to the butterfly farm, Phillips Animal Garden, the donkey sanctuary,  or the ostrich farm.

I agree Palm Beach better for small children. The surf breaks rougher at Eagle and the little ones might get knocked down. For experienced ocean goers Eagle Beach is awesome.

Baby Beach is called this for a reason. This is a great spot for children.

Baby beach can have STONG currents if you go past the rocks...and there are rock!

 

Palm beach is calm, sandy and easy to get to.

The rocks at baby beach are far out and no reason for children to go that far. it is like a big swimming pool and gorgeous. Only thing is it’s a bit away from cruise terminal. I’m not sure how taxi would work to get there.

The taxi fare to Baby Beach is steep. The current rate is $88.00 round trip for a taxi to Baby Beach from the port. I agree that it is very calm and great for kids. The rocky area is pretty far out. Palm Beach and Surfside Beach are also calm.
