wifi calling

Sailing on Carnival Breeze in June. Need to stay in contact with elderly parents who do not use social media. What is the best way to do this?

I was able to do WiFi calling with the value internet plan on the Breeze. I’m not sure if it would work with the lower tier package.

Wifi calling does not work with the Social Media plan, but we were able to use it with the Value plan.

As the two previous posters mentioned from their experience, you can wifi call on the Value plan. On our Conquest cruise last year, SIL needed to stay in touch with an ill family member and used wifi calling to do that. He did say he had some drops in the connection but was able to communicate to the folks back home.

We are sailing on the fantasy and am worried about the same thing. You think as long as get the more expensive internet package we can use WiFi calls? I was Join to Facetime, but from what I understand That won't work?
