Two of the main lounges, as well as the Dining Room, with the waiters doing their weekly "When the Saints Go Marching In" parade.

These pictures really prove how far cruising has changed. Because these two lounges look like any land base 70s or 80s lounge and the furniture looks uncomfortable. Also the parading waiters are dressed half way like prisoners in black and white stripes. Lol

Had to resurrect this thread, as I caught this great picture as we were arriving into Roatan last week on the Freedom.  It was mostly cloudy at the time, and there was a small hole in the clouds where the sun was shining down on the Miracle off in the distance.

I was on this Journeys cruise, too but watching from the bow. Bought a  bunch of Radu's 16 x 20 prints that he  graciously signed.

Ha!  Absolutely, no doubt!  She's beautiful isn't she?

Here we are, 40 years and two children later...on the Freedom in January.

Interesting shot of an ex-Carnival Fantasy-Class vessel.

Now sailing for some other line - like all the others should be too.

At Barcelona Hbr. we came across Grand Celebration

at the time sailing for IberoCruises!

Thanks so much.  Our 40th was August 4th (this past Sunday), so we're still basking in the glow of our "achievement".  I say that tongue in cheek, but anyone who's been married knows it can be, at times, challenging.

I do have to say though that Holly (my wife) has made the past 40 years pretty easy though.  She's truly one in a million.

Sorry to nitpick, but this is not a Fantasy class ship.  The Holiday, Jubilee, and Celebration were all Holiday class ships to the best of my knowledge.

Regardless, it's a wonderful picture of the Celebration post-Carnival.
