Eurodam Pinnacle Grill Breakfast for Neptune Suite

Recommended Posts

I am seeing links on line that there is breakfast for Neptune Suite and higher occupants in the Pinnacle grill.  A couple of questions:

1. Is this true?

2. Is there an upcharge like lunch and dinner?

3. What is the menu like?

4.  What is the difference between here, Lido, or Main Dining Room for breakfast?

Was just off the E'dam and ate breakfast every morning in the PG.  It is wonderful.  Quiet.  Great service.  No upcharge is you are in a Neptune...  Great menu although I don't have a link but every item can be customized...  Can't wait for our next cruise and the elegant PG breakfasts...

Yes, it is true.  No charge.  The menu is the same as in the main dining room.

On Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam, they are running a trial where the breakfast is held in a different venue.  This may or may not happen on the rest of the fleet sometime this year.  The press release announcing the program ("Club Orange") said that the breakfast would move to its own part of the main dining room on some ships.  This is all still TBD, though.

1.  Its true and IMO a very nice way to start your day.  One of the best perks of the Neptunes.

2.  No charge - just show them your GOLD room key.

3. Menu is pretty much the same as in the MDR (Main Dining Room) but I think an extra item or two.

4. Pretty much the same as the MDR, except a nice environment and better service (especially once they get to know you).  The Lido is good for a quick breakfast, while the Pinnacle takes quite a bit longer.

When we are lucky enough to be in a Neptune cabin, we take most of our breakfasts in the Pinnacle, unless we are in a hurry.

One very nice thing - we like to dine here on departure day, to avoid the hectic Lido and MDR with everyone trying to dine before departing.

One nice thing is that you see and sometimes get to know your fellow Neptune passengers as people tend to go at the same time daily.

If the new Club Orange, that is being tested on the Pinnacle class ships, is rolled out fleetwide this year as planned by HAL, there will no longer be a PG breakfast for NS. The Club Orange is replacing the PG breakfast as a Suites perk.

The OP's cruise is next month on the Eurodam, so no Club Orange yet for them.

Dave, I was quoting Gator 65 and his Alaska cruise is in June, but no telling if this CO will be rolled out by June or not. The OP gave no notification  of which cruise he was considering the NS. If this CO roll out goes fleetwide this year, anybody considering a NS should be made aware that the PG breakfast perk may not be available on their cruise later this year or next year. HAL sure isn't going to tell anyone already booked.
