2 weeks before final payment...should i book now or wait?

I want to book a cabin on Holland- America MS Amsterdam. I don’t know whether to wait until after the final payment date or pay now. Do prices usually go down? It’s only a couple of weeks away...

FWIW - If it's a cabin you desire at a price you are willing/able to pay, do it. Prices may go down, they may go up or the cabin may get booked by someone else. Happy Cruising

You should post your question on the Holland America board, rather than on Carnival.

If you see a an itinerary you want with a particular cabin you want at a price that is right for you then book it.  There are no guarantees that your cabin or cabin catrgory will be available and there is no guarantee that the price will drop.

This depends on how important it is to you to cruise on that ship on that date.  If your flexible,  wait and see.  If you are determined to go on this cruise, book now.  You can check some of the online booking companies and see how many cabins are still available in the category you want or are acceptable to you.  I've usually waited and book after final payment and watched for good deals, but I don't mind which cruise line I book or need exact dates. 

When booking with others, we usually book early since our choices become limited and we are less flexible.  

P.S. don't worry about this being Carnival page. Same parent company.
