mrjlhayes Posted March 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2019 We are sailing on the Ruby Princess starting on April 8 for a 15 day cruise to Hawaii. That time period corresponds with the release of the first two episodes of the new season of Game of Thrones. Does Princess' in-room TV service include HBO? Papa Yoda Posted March 20, 2019 #7 Share Posted March 20, 2019 (edited) I'd suppose you'd know to buy Unlimited MedallionNet on the Ruby and sign up for HBO Go and just stream it. HBO Go is free to an HBO subscriber Welcome to Cruise Critic! Edited March 20, 2019 by Ferd Berfle Add welcome!
Crystal04 Posted March 20, 2019 #8 Share Posted March 20, 2019 You might be able to put HBOGO on a fire stick and use their internet to watch it on TV. We had Game of Thrones trivia on the Regal last December... 😁 I won a bottle of champagne.

And "international" versions of these channels. Not exactly the same as the domestic programming. Don't expect much from the TV offerings.

Thanks! 👀 Standard live channels are: MSNBC International Fox News International BBC International ESPN International Programming is not always the same as U.S. programming, especially on ESPN. There are also other channels that show discovery channel, classic TV shows, on board events, movies, etc.

In the morning getting ready for the activities of the day and at night before sleep is when we most usually watch television (also will be some more on sea days).😎

mrjlhayes Posted March 21, 2019 Author #19 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Thanks for all the responses. Hopefully MedallionNet is fast enough to stream. If so, we'll try watching on our laptop, or hook the laptop up to the TV.
