Well Jamie and others, better luck to you. The captain just cancelled our call to Great Stirrup Cay due to high winds and seas. We will dock at Nassau at 1:00 pm and stay in port overnight, departing as scheduled tomorrow at 6 pm.

Currently in 5’ seas with a 39 knot wind.

Luckily I don't have my heart set on GSC. Tendering isn't my favorite, so I would rather not do it in high winds. I've already warned my sister that there's only about a 50% chance we get to stop there.

Reassuring to see the Casino will still be open in the evening. I would have been concerned about not having access to the casino overnight in port.

Probably an error,,, but l’ll report on our ability to donate money to he casino tonight.

Making use of the morning, sitting on a hot stone lounger, watching Nassau get closer in the distance.

We were within a mile of GSC then make the turn to the east.

Did you do the excursion to Kennedy Space Center through NCL? We're trying to decide whether to go that route or fly solo. Those pictures look pretty promising...

We did the NCL ShoreEx (which is essentially a transfer and a ticket). We get a 15% Plat Plus discount and the ShoreEx credit to offset the cost.

yesterday, the line for the bus tour portion was about 1 hour long. The Bus tour out to the Saturn V complex and the Atlantis exhibit are a must see.

Nothing like a good wind kicking up late in the day as the tenders are rushing to get everyone back onboard, as half the people on them are throwing up. It was like the pie eating contest in Stand By Me LOL

We were 5 for 5 getting to GSC until this cruise. Oh well. We were anxious to check out the progress on the Haven area. Last time we were at GAC, they were empty concrete shells.
