Tipping on Celebrity Shore Excursions

Recommended Posts

I know some things on board include the gratuity, does this apply to shore excursions booked thru Celebrity?

No. If you have a very good tour guide,a little something is appropriate.

No. Excursions are operated by independant operators and if you feel you want to offer them a nice show of appreciation for the fun time you had then go for it.

Unless you are in Nassau and going on a ferry to Atlantis where they pass their dirty hat and expect/[demand] it where they don't  deserve a dime. IMHO of course.

Gratuities for excursions aren't mentioned in the cruise planner so it's safe to assume that Celebrity doesn't tip the guides. We had a great cruise a few weeks ago with 3 Celebrity excursions. The tour guides were excellent. We tipped each of  them at the end of the tours.
