That would be a fast way for cruise lines to instruct their captains to quit laying on the ship's whistles. Remember, it's not mandatory to blow the whistles as they pass the condos

And I believe Captain van Erten has been asked about tooting and said "They haven't told me to stop"

I was referring to the alleged "fee per toot" being levied at PE. I know there have been complaints from other boaters in the past about his "excessive use of the whistle"
