Agree on the karaoke - especially when it's kid after kid after kid.  I have been to enough recitals.  I don't need another on my vacation.  Now, I'm ducking for cover as everyone who loves the cute kids singing come out!

I agree with the karaoke. We thought we’d check it out on our last cruise, and what we thought was awful were the older men that seriously thought they were quite the great singers. We joked about them the whole cruise, and made a point to never go back to that again. But it did give us some serious laughs throughout the week after viewing it. 🤣🤣

There is so much to do on a Carnival Cruise. And there are so many activities that you can expect to see on every cruise.I love to try new things, but I don't care how much free champagne they give out, I have never had the slightest desire to attend any of the art auctions. I doubt I ever will. Are there any regularly scheduled activities on a cruise that you can't see yourself ever participating in?

I am positive that some will think I’m crazy, but I have no interest at all in anything related to the casino.  As a matter of fact, I hate that the design of the Conquest Class ships forces you to walk in that smoke-infested area.

I like looking at the art pieces, but I’m not attending an art auction.  I’m also not attending a spa tour, but will, happily, wander through on my own.  Basically, if you are trying to sell me something that is overpriced or I don’t need, you won’t see me there.

This.  On every level, this.  I don't gamble - I'm a terrible gambler, so I always lose.

I like art, but don't like auctions.  Maybe a silent auction.

Same with spas - let me walk through and browse, maybe, but don't sell me on it.  I can go through that baloney for a timeshare and get a "free" cruise, and guess what, I don't...
