We are renting a van (since there are 4 adults and 2 kids in our group.

I have read that a lot of road in Aruba are only passable by jeep. Can I get to Baby Beach in a van or is it too 'off road'?

Thanks for you help

We traveled to Baby Beach in a small SUV type vehicle. You will have no problems going there. We ate at Charlies's Bar in the little town near Baby Beach. It is an experience not to be missed. They have the best shrimp. some of the roads off the beaten path are rough. You might like to go to the underground caves on that end of the island, too. We also drove over to the Natural Bridge. That area of the island is dry and arrid more desert like than the other end of the island. We enjoyed our day in Aruba. Get a map from the car rental and go on-line to one of the Aruba sites and print off a map. This helps you be more familiar with the island before you get there...
