Cruise Line Recommendation for British Isles Fall 2020

Recommended Posts

Greetings!

We are a family of 4 adults traveling to the British Isles next August/September.  Looking for cruise recommendations to see Ireland, Scotland, and England.  Need to be in Dover Sept 13 for our transatlantic cruise back home to the States.  We have cruised on Disney many, many times, but they don't offer a British Isles tour Fall 2020.

Love to hear trip reports of past cruises.

Cheers!

Heidi

I looked on cruisetimetables.com, to see which ships were in Dublin, as a start, and see that Arcadia sails from Southampton on Aug 9th-21st round the islands; Island Princess does something similar on the 24th Aug to Sept 7th.

Arcadia is an adult only ship.

You might find others on that site which suit you- C&M have a ship in Liverpool for the season, which may do trips to Ireland.

Missed this! Regent 7 Seas Aug 18-30th.

There's others starting in ports across the North Sea, such as Denmark.

Princess has a 12 day 8 port cruise leaving Southampton on September 1, disembarking in Southampton on September 13. You would just have to find a way to Dover.

Looks great.  Thanks for the heads up.  We love staying in Dover with our friends who own a charming B&B right on the coast.

Have you sailed on this Princess ship before?

This will be our first cruise on Princess.  8 other cruises with Disney.
