Has anyone ever stayed at this hotel? Our car will be parked there for a week & just wondering if it's in a safe area.

All I have to say is good luck in this industrial and  questionable area surrounding the hotel.

I've stayed there.  It is an industrial area with nothing walking distance, but since we were traveling from the North and just interested in a bed it didn't bother us.

 

The property was adequate but nothing fancy.  Food and drinks at the onsite restaurant were also mediocre at best, but you met the need and you could also likely order in.  We felt safe leaving our vehicle there and it was fine when we returned.

 

The shuttle service they use was very nice both to and from the port.

 

Our biggest negative was that it is a conference center, and a large group was there when we were so elevators were very slow.

Thank you! We're just like you were. Just looking for a place to sleep & park the car in a safe area. Glad to hear the shuttle is good, too!

Better area with lots of food and shopping option would be the White Marsh Area, right off of I95

You may want to call and confirm parking is free. It has been reported online on other social media sites they are now charging a daily rate to park your car.

We stay at this hotel a lot.  As others have said, it's nothing fancy and there's not anything within walking distance BUT it is fairly close to Fell's Point so we always go there and have oysters when we sail out of Baltimore.  I find their shuttle service to the port to be superior.  They have very nice Mercedes vans and they are prompt and professional.

 

The parking lot on the property is HUGE so there is always plenty of room to park your car and as noted, parking is included as long as you make sure that you order the cruise and stay package.

 

We've tried other properties but always come back to this place.  You cannot beat the price with the bundled hotel stay, parking and shuttle service to and from the hotel.  It's just a great deal.

We booked this hotel. Once we arrived we checked out, rather than check in. Terrible hotel. Rooms were dirty, parking was all over the place including the street, front desk didn't even try to rectify issues. So we went to the Springhill Suites at the airport and it was beautiful.  I would not recommend the BW.
