How difficult is it to get a taxi from Elbow Beach back to the Dockyard

Recommended Posts

We will be on the Anthem in Bermuda July 30.     I was looking to book a day pass at Elbow Beach.   I read that some people had difficulty getting taxis back to the Dockyard.   Any info on this is appreciated.    Thanks.

We did this twice. First time we waited about ten minutes.  Second time we waited an hour.  The area was packed with people waiting for hotel shuttle and cabs and it was hot and chaotic.

If you're worried about getting a cab or excessive waits download an app called Hitch. It works just like a local Uber. We use it when we are going places where cabs normally don't congregate or its difficult to get one. It also allows you to pay with a credit card whereas most taxis only accept cash.

One caveat is that there is a 15% charge built in vs normal taxi so if there is one there and you don't mind paying cash it will be a little cheaper.
