Volendam_Specialty Restaurants

Are there any other specialty restaurants or nights at Canaleto or Pinnacle Grille besides Rudi's Sel de Mer? We are cruising at the end of the year and all that is available are those three options. Also, is the main dining room open for lunch on embarkation? If so, until what time? We would prefer to avoid the Lido deck the first day.

 

Any other tips or suggestions regarding anything Volendam are appreciated! Long time cruiser, but first time on the Volendam.

Main Dining Room is usually open for lunch on embarkation day until 1:30 pm.

 

If your cruise is 10 days or longer, there is a good chance that a Cellar Master Dinner will be held in the Pinnacle Grill one night.  Just ask your MDR wine steward on the first night.  

 

We just spent 30 days on the Volendam in February and thought the Pinnacle Grill was one of the best ones we have been to on HAL.  It has the look and feel of a fine dining restaurant and a truly great staff.  We had lunch there every sea day and dinner at least 10 times.
