Fun week on the Sunshine

Just off the Sunshine this morning. Had a great week. The staff was outstanding in every way. Mikey ( the CD ) was very entertaining. Must say that some people should be required to take a courtesy class before being allowed to 

cruise. I'm quite sure some would not pass .

We had an ocean view cabin. It was updated but did not have refrig. # 1568 Booked under O.V. Guarantee rate.

Sorry, we have cruised so often that we do not take many pictures anymore.

Our son and brand new daughter-in-law were on their honeymoon on this cruise.  They got married on the beach Sunday morning, had a brunch reception at the Radisson then we dropped them off at the port.  We went back to Grill's just in time to wave goodbye to them in the rain as the ship sailed out.  😎  Sounds like they had a great time.

Sunshine is not my favorite Carnival ship, but Mikey Gibson is my favorite Carnival CD.

We are going on the Sunshine in September. We are hoping the refurbishment will make the difference. Granddaughters really want to play in the waterside .

surprised that EVERY room does not have a refrigerator. I called to verify and that is true. I am diabetic and I was told that they have additional ones available first come first served. They also offered that we can have an ice bucket and use that for insulin storage or store it with the medical facility. I can also bring something to store it in as long as it measures less than 12x12x12. I was shocked but I will figure something out that I feel safe and comfortable with.

Pack a soft sided cooler in your checked luggage and have your cabin steward fill it every day.
