Question About Wine on a Journey Cruise

We are taking a 14 day Journey cruise in November.  I understand we can bring on two bottles of wine when we board (or can we?).

My question is when you stop at a port, can you bring back on the ship a couple of  bottles of wine you purchased there?

Or is that not allowed?

It’s one bottle per person no matter how long the cruise is.

And yes, you can bring wine - or any alcohol - back on the ship during port stops. However, that alcohol must be turned in, and will be returned to you at the end of the cruise.

I can confirm this statement as true from my experience on 2 Journeys cruises.

I would think this rule needs an exception on a 14 day cruise.

You would think wrong. By that logic, someone on a 7 day cruise should be able to take more than someone on a 3 day cruise. It doesn't work that way.
