Line at customer relations is long. The AC is out and rooms are at 82 degrees. They are working on it.

We had AC Tuesday when we boarded I they took care of that by night.

So the AC is out in the 200-300 range on various decks. From deck 5 through deck 11 that I know of.

One woman has not had AC since we boarded.

A/C was out on deck 11 till around 5p today.  Evidently they were replacing coils.  Lots of contractors onboard finishing up stuff

If I was in a Balcony cabin, I would take the complimentary cruise voucher for the inconvenience, and open the door.

After being on The Regal so many times, world marketplace is a big let down.

Adonis working the salty dog grill is so very sweet. He has made us a fresh burger when asked and is so kind. Not everyone is kind back so that’s tough to see.

Besides lunch on embarkation, we have not touched  the MDR to eat. Lunch was amazing but I’m not hearing good reports on dinners.

Walked into the casino tonight and there is almost not a seat to be had.  Tables are packed and almost every machine is taken. It’s amazing that 5 minutes in there has you smelling like smoke!

Roldan at the Great Spirits at Sea bar is just fantastic. Funny, great show and makes a fantastic cocktail. Really amazing personality.

Crooners bartenders are again so spot on. The entire team up there are just so much fun. I swear they save the best for Crooners. Card tricks, dance moves and laughs. Always just a great spot. Not a fan of the piano player, just not a lot of upbeat songs. But again the crew, it makes up for that!!

Got a refund on the Sanctuary. So very disappointed with the changes. I’ve done that on every single cruise since it came out. I won’t do it again on this ship and hope they don’t make the same changes on other ships.

A lot of new crew boarded when we did so there is a learning curve for some. But as always, Princess crew is what keeps me coming back.

Temperature in our cabin is awful. But since I have some air flow and AC, I’m not complaining. So many others on board have none and I really feel for them. Sleep has been tough as it’s so warm and living in Florida I’m used to great AC. Ready to get off for this reason.

The lack of communication from staff to those without AC has made it very frustrating for those we have talked to. I know it’s very tough for the staff at customer service because they are trying and have to be the passenger facing crew, Princess should just own the situation and let them all know what’s going on.

our cabin steward is once again a ninja!  Room is always cleaned and I never know when he is here!  Great service.

I’ll be back on tomorrow if anyone has anymore questions.

Judging by the renderings of Sky Princess and Enchanted Princess, I expect to see chairs similar to these new ones on those ships. Whilst I’m all for Princess modernising decor and furnishings, it shouldn’t be to the detriment of comfort. These chairs would probably be okay if the cushion was at least twice as thick and the webbing was wood to double up as the table. Arms would also be nice.

No A/C would be an abandon ship moment for me, no way I could sleep in an 82 degree cabin, and my wife would also jump over.  I would have to demand my money back and get off as soon as possible.

We are on the CB in late June, so hopefully these issues with A/C are resolved.  We were in a Lido balcony last summer and weren't getting the best air flow, so I removed the diffuser and it helped, but this sounds more like an overall A/C issue.

Ugh.

It appears that the AC problem has gotten much worse then when we sailed last Nov. We were on Caribe deck & didn't have much cool air during our whole 10 days. :classic_sad:

Besides the so-so food it's one of the main things that wouldn't pull us back to the CB anytime soon.

They should keep this ship in cooler climates until they resolve the AC problem. My DH also removed the diffuser & it didn't help much. We also inserted a crafted deflector into the duck to catch more cool air without much success. It only gave us more warm air.

I'm in Gty Bal, Forward, Upper Decks 14-15. Hopefully I don't get "upgraded" to Middle Decks 10-12, they have it fixed in the next 1.5 months before my cruise, or it is cool enough at night with the door open.

There are still a lot of unallocated cabins on board. I hope they are smart enough to keep the problem rooms unassigned.

Sigh. Buffets too? I thought the food was pretty much the same in the MDR as the Buffets.

What bad reports are you hearing?

Thanks for the 411.
