Another OBC question!

My son and I are going on the Sunrise soon. I have $200 OBC from the casino and another $100 from MC Funpoints. Can I use all OBC for the gratuities? Does Carnival charge them daily or all at one time?

If you do not pre pay them, Carnival will start taking them  daily. They will show up on your sign and sail as charges each day.

They will show up on the last day of the cruise. You can use them for gratuties if you have not reached limit on other stuff.

OBC is a wonderful tool for you and the cruise lines too.

 

If your a CCL :NYSE LSE Shareholder you may combine the Shareholder Benefit as well it allows you even with only one hundred shares ( I DRIP, all ours) a OBC on each Cruise line siblings lines too.

 

The OBC usually shows up on your Cruise Statement ledger.

 

The funds  have as well been used by us for Gambling, TIPS, gifts, shopping, etc..etc..

In all my cruises since they started doing gratuities this way they  have always been taken as a single charge generally showing up on the account in 2-3 days after sailing. I have never seen them taken daily and never have they waited until the end.

you don't really assign OBC, it comes out as charges come in

On my invoice from Carnival it states $200(USD). I just hope that means I don't have to use it for the casino, it's not funplay. On the offer it did not say funplay but OBC. 

I guess when the $100 Carnival gift card is mailed to me I'll need to go to guest services to apply it to my on board account.
