Disembarking in Sydney

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, does anyone know if you can nominate an early disembarkation with Carnival. Cruise gets back in to Sydney @6:30 am and I need to catch an International Flight @ 11:00 am so really need to be off the ship by say 8:00 am

As long as the ship gets in on schedule and you opt for self debarkation you’ll be off by 8.

I would post on the Carnival board to see what the experience of others has been like.

Our Royzl Caribbean gets in at 6:30 and have opted to stay over 1 nt as it appears to be a 45 min drive from where we dock to the airport without traffic.  Decided that was too close for checkin for an international flt. Good luck.

We have made the same decision.  No sense racing from the terminal to the airport.  Sydney opens international check-in lines about 3 hours before departure and our experience is that there is always a queue.  After you are checked in their are security and immigration lines to get through along with a long walk through the terminal area filled with duty free that you have to pass through to get to your gate.  Plus it is one more day we avoid coming home to winter.  :classic_biggrin:
