I can’t remember if Bermuda shorts are ok to wear in the main dining room.

As long as you also wear a ball cap on backward and a wife beater.  Otherwise you’ll be overdressed.

They don't enforce dress suggestions, so you are welcome to ignore them.  Many do.

By Bermuda shorts,do you mean longer, casual  shorts that go to the knee,or the more formal outfit men wear in Bermuda for business?

That outfit includes long shorts ( usually a wool blend fabric)

pleather belt, dress shirt, tie and navy blazer, knee high socks and polished dress shoes.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Yes. You may wear shorts in the MDR for all meals. There will be suggest dress code, but more and more people feel that if they are on vacation, they don't need to get dressed up. You will not feel out of place with your Bermudas!

Amazing answers to this question.  Only asking for my son.  I would not wear shorts  but he was just wondering.  No need for the snarky remarks .  Thank you

It wouldn't be CC without snarky remarks.

Next cruise I am going to wear a kilt.

I've seen men wearing kilts on the ship many times.  Very nice.

Agree, kilts are awesome.  I'd wear one if I had one!

But, you should wear shorts with your son. There is no reason to get all dressed up when you are on vacation.

The technical answer is that shorts are welcome for breakfast and lunch in the MDR, but not for dinner.

The realistic answer is that this is very rarely enforced

When it is it's got to be very embarrassing with everyone staring at you. I have seen someone turned away and the snarky comments were definitely heard by the passenger. I'm still curious if they showed back up or went to the windjammer.
