Table for 2-How to request on Adventure?

Recommended Posts

We have late dining on Adventure of the Seas at the end of this month.  Is there way to request a table for 2 prior to the cruise?  Or just once we get there at the dining room?

Thanks!

Try rcldining@rccl.com about 3 weeks before the cruise.

On your email, provide all your booking information.  You will receive an email (hopefully) directly from the ship confirming your request.

Note: When you get onboard the first day, go to the MDR and check your table...confirm that it is a table for 2 as you requested.....and....if you like the location.

Many years ago, we emailed and requested for a table for 2 next to a window.  At dinner time the first night, we discovered we had a table for 2....next to a window....by the kitchen. 😊

We had another laugh a few years later, when we emailed and requested "Table for 2, with Oceanview".   Again on the first night, we asked the Maitre D' why he placed us in the middle of the dining room after asking for an oceanview..........he pointed to his right and said "Look, you can see the ocean". 😂

We goto the MDR on the first day and submit this request in person...Never had an issue. 🙂

Just call up Royal with your reservation number and request it. I do that all the time. Or in the future, make the request when you make your cruise reservation.

We did this trick on our last cruise in November on Marnier and it worked like a charm!

Either e-mail them or as soon as you board, go to the MDR and there you will find Maitre Ds handling various requests.  They are very accommodating.

Thank-you for reporting back,  it's useful to get recent feedback.

Or, by luck you can get assigned to a table for 8 and have no one else show up.

We emailed ahead of a cruise on Navigator and received a response with our table number, confirming a table for 2 near the window. Well kind of …. it was near the window but sadly not next to it 🙁

We tried again for Oasis in May but we didn't get a reply this time. Turns out they couldn't have got us further away from a window if they tried - we were given a table on the top level in a corner right at the back in the darkest most far away table from the window it was possible to have..  DH reckons they did it on purpose!  Oh well I tried 😁

The best tables we have had are the ones I didn't send emails for.

He's banned me from sending anymore emails ….

From what I've seen, most tables for 2 aren't by the windows. Just the tables for larger parties.
