Dear Guest,

As you are aware, the U.S. Administration announced changes to regulations regarding travel to Cuba, which eliminate the prior authorization permitting cruise ships to travel from the U.S. to Cuba. As a result of these substantial changes in U.S. law and regulation, effective June 5, 2019, cruise ships are no longer allowed to call Cuba after departing a U.S. port.

We are aware that you have an upcoming 7-night Caribbean cruise – including a call in Havana, Cuba – booked on MSC Armonia. Given the recent change in regulations, MSC Armonia is no longer authorized to call Cuba, and we were therefore required to alter the itinerary of your cruise.

The alternative schedule of your cruise will be:

June 10 MSC Armonia Sailing

Arrival time

Departure time

Miami (United States)

At sea

Ocho Rios (Jamaica)

George Town (Cayman Islands)

Cozumel (Mexico)

Costa Maya (Mexico)

At sea

Miami (United States)

We are certain you will still enjoy spending your vacation with MSC Cruises and the team onboard MSC Armonia will do their best to ensure an outstanding vacation experience.
  • If you choose to remain on your currently booked sailing, there is no need to contact us and you will receive a $400.00 USD credit per stateroom on your shipboard account for onboard spending during your cruise. If this credit is not fully used during your cruise, we will refund the difference when you check-out from the ship. Any shore excursions in Havana that were pre-purchased before your cruise, will also be automatically refunded to your onboard account.
  • If you would like to move to another itinerary, MSC Cruises will waive your cancellation fees and transfer your already paid funds to your new booking. We are proud to offer global itineraries and state of the art ships that will appeal to your every vacation desire.
For more information, please visit www.msccruises.com, call your travel advisor or contact MSC Cruises at 877-665-4605. We are sorry for this unexpected change and thank you in advance for your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you onboard soon.
