Luggage storage?

Recommended Posts

We booked a window suite on Caribbean Princess.  Wondering if hard size suitcase (14.5 in deep) will fit under bed or if I should bring my duffle (which is harder to handle).

Our 11 inches suitcase fit under the bed. Our tapered suitcase which tapers to 12 inches did not fit. Plenty of space to stand up a suitcase at the end of the open closet.

You'll have LOTS of storage space in a window suite, it shouldn't be too hard to find a place to put your suitcase.

Yes they should fit under the bed for sure open and most likely closed.

If we ever had a problem with a closed suitcase I just lifted up on the frame and slid it under.

Window suites (S7) have 3 or 4 double closets with lighting. No need to worry about storage for your suitcases. For two people, storage for anything was never an issue.

Airline carry-on size fits easily under the bed, and we could make a 24" suitcase fit.  However, I have found it much easier to simply put our large suitcase in the closet, with enough room to hang shirts above it.

Your hard side (closed) may fit under the bed   But, you may have to leave it open.

Good luck.

Are there two of you?  There is one closet for each of you and a third closet to store ALL of your luggage.  I have fit 4 large suitcases, 3 carry ons, and miscellaneous things I wanted to hide.  And still there was room to put short clothes items or fill it to the brim. All closets have doors.  Keep in mind, that if the boat is rocking and rolling, so will your suitcases with wheels (lol).

There are 21 drawers and a few smaller cupboards and shelves.  If no one takes a jacuzzi tub bath, you can store more luggage in the huge tub.

There are 3 of us, but our daughter has a rolling duffle bag, so not worried about that.
