Ferry from Red Hook Brooklyn to Wall Street

Has anyone had experience taking the ferry with luggage after a cruise from Red Hook to Manhattan? Is the ferry dock near the cruise ship dock?

The ferry dock is right near the cruise dock.

someone has posted a video of the ferry to Red Hook Port.  You get off the ferry and it is about  and the cruise port entrance is right there to the left
