Thursday May 23 - Seward - Exit Glacier & Alaska Sealife Centre

After a quiet night at the VRBO with a beer around the firepit, today was more of a relaxing day.  We did the 10 minute drive out to Exit Glacier around noon....

There were various signs showing where the glacier was in past years, evidence of the melting glaciers....

Our next stop was at the Alaska Sealife Centre.  This was built as a rehab centre dating back to the Exxon Valdez oil spill.   We again spent about 90 minutes here......

One of our favourite birds is the Puffin!   We first saw them in Newfoundland and then again in Alaska.  Here is a video we took at the Alaska Sealife Centre showing them "flying" under water.....

Friday May 24, 2019 - Seward - Kenai Fjords tour with Major Marine Tours

Today we set out on our second tour with Major Marine.   This one was 6 hours long and had a larger boat with more people on board although it still wasn't a full load.  Today's tour was a combination of wildlife, fjords and glaciers.....

The Radiance of the Seas was docked in Seward and would be heading out later that day
