Luggage storage prior to cruise in Seattle?

Recommended Posts

4 of us arriving at SeaTac at 8:45 on day of departure and could be at Pier 91 for our cruise in mid July by 10am — we were told we won’t be able to board til at least noon.  Also told no facilities for baggage storage or even waiting for boarding at Pier 91 either.  Does anyone know if we can check luggage at a downtown hotel for a few hours so we can  check out Pikes (?) market.  Or other alternatives for storage.  Thanks!

Don't worry.  We arrived early to the pier and our baggage was taken.  However, it was very busy in the terminal as the waiting area was shared with a Royal Caribbean ship.  There was no line for check in  to get room keys, etc. but once you got to the boarding area, it was very crowded.

You can drop your luggage off with the porters outside the Terminal 91 building after 10 am (maybe 10:30 depending on how long the morning disembarkation is taking).  The porters can only accept luggage with the cruise line luggage tags with stateroom numbers listed (no to be assigned rooms).

If this doesn't work, or of you got to Pier 91 super early, there is a concierge office at Pier 91 that could hold your luggage for the day (until 3 pm) for $5 a bag. It is located just to the right of the center doors.

You must keep with you your passport or whatever travel documents you are using - do not pack them in your luggage (you would be surprised how many people do this).  Best to be back at Pier 91 by 2:30 to be on the safe side.
