Current entertainment on Ruby Princess.

Will be on Ruby Princess in a couple of weeks sailing with friends that are first time Princess cruisers and was wondering if anyone sailing on the Ruby recently can let us know about the current entertainment.  Usually get an email from Princess about entertainment, but none so far.  Thanks in advance.

We were on the Ruby 6/22 - 29 and thought the entertainment was fantastic!  Some real talent in the group that performs in the theater and we like Mike Peyton (an Irishman) who plays guitar and plays in Crooners, as well as other venues; also in Crooners was a piano player/singer (also Irish!) named Richard Sulek (I think that's him, anyway); there was also a piano/guitar duo who played in the Piazza quite a bit named Souvenir Duo; and a rock band named Leal Band.  Lots of things going on in the Piazza and sometimes it's fairly hard to get a seat, so go early.  Also, with all the entertainment on the Piazza there was, unfortunately, a lack of drink service.

 

The comedian that was scheduled cancelled, but they found a substitute named Michael Wilson and he was FANTASTIC; we saw his show both nights.  There was also a great talk by a naturalist, the first female Iditarod winner and a woman who made a solo kayak journey up the Inside Passage.
