ZUIDERDAM AT EIDFJORD, NORWAY

Recommended Posts

My first visit to this beautiful Norwegian fjord town. Wonderful walking trails from the dock. I highly approve!

These pics were all taken with in walking distance of the pier. There are three marked walking trails, one of which goes along a river connecting a lake to the fjord.

So beautiful.  It was fun seeing pictures of Norway.  We have one stop in Norway next month but it looks like I might like to do a  longer land tour there too.

Geirangerfjord was my favorite in 2013 and probably still is.

Eidfjord is less commercial for now.

It is nice to share.

Today was Rotterdam and we went onboard the SS Rotterdam which is close by our pier.

Did you just stay around the port at Eidfjord or did you take any of the tours - waterfalls, nature center etc.?

Sounds as if you just stayed near the port.

Thanks for posting those wonderful pictures.

They bring back memories of our cruise to Norway a few years ago.

Yes, I was there in 2013 on the Ryndam and have been ready to return ever since.

We went by the ships photographer and noticed he had some of the same shots. The scenery makes the photographer look good.
