Can you tell me what to look for on my reservation to see if I happen to have both promos and don't know it? Thanks.

When I do a mock booking & this is what shows at the bottom of the screen where you pick your promos. On your reservation it tells you if you have the on board spend & on my confirmation email it says about the 20% off discount applied

for my encore cruise, it is part of the 20% off but there is no on board spend..strange..the on board spend seems to part of the latitudes insider monthly offer combine with the 20% off

What's really amazing to me about this 20% off sale is that it's an actual sale.  We've been watching the price of our already-booked stateroom, as we always do, and it's come down a couple of times since we booked (we took advantage of that), most recently this weekend, right before the sale.   So it's not a situation (at least in our case) where a cruise line raised prices before a new sale or promo.    And, so far, no one has reported that their already-booked cabin price increased right before this sale.

And, the sale is having its intended effect -- we've booked another cruise!  😃

I was a sucker for the email as well. We ended up booking a 10 night New Zealand cruise that we plan to add a few days both pre/post cruise to for 2021. My already booked 2020 cruise wasn't part of the deal, so no savings on that one but we already got a steal of a price for that.

The promotion is clearly working with so many people booking cruises. My coworker is considering joining us on the New Zealand trip as well. With the included airfare, it's ludicrously "cheap" for this trip of a lifetime and several thousand dollars cheaper than I expected having to pay - helping to move it from bucket list to "OMG we're going!".

Wow, you really hit the jackpot there.  The ones I have been looking at either have the $100 free note OR the 20% off note.  Too bad I already have my winter 2020 trip booked.

Yup, I bit, too, and booked a cruise to SA for March 2021!

Thank you SO much for posting this! We had previously booked a 20-day Panama Canal cruise for May 2020. I called our PCC at NCL, and we were able to shave off over $1500.00 from the original price! We did, however, lose out on double points for that particular cruise.

I also asked about our upcoming cruise to Alaska next month as well. Since it was already paid in full, they were not able to honor the 20%, however they did give us an OBC in the form of a gift certificate. They offered us an upgrade from a balcony to a mini-suite first, but it would be a guaranteed cabin, so we would not have a choice of location. I was happy with the additional OBC..

One bad thing...  apparently this deal is NOT combinable with the Caesars discount unfortunately.

I don't know if that's true.  I originally booked my Nov 2020 cruise on the Jade through Caesars with my discount.  I called yesterday to get the 20% price reduction and was originally told the prices wouldn't change for me.  BUT, I called back later in the day (actually just to have the promotion code added to at least get the $100 OBC and extra points), and they were able to give me the new reduced price!  Now, I did, for some reason, have to give up my previously acquired $100 OBC for booking with a CruiseNext certificate. I didn't really understand that part, but I saved $2k on my booking so I am certainly not worried about it.  The code they applied is LATVIP, so I don't think I get the extra points either....But I am not sure.  Either way the cost savins was worth it.  So, if you booked through Caesars I would for sure call and ask them to add the promo code and see how it works out.

And THANK YOU to the OP for posting this!  I probably would have missed it since my cruise is so far away and I don't usually monitor for price drops this far out.  You saved me a bundle!

I may have to try again then...  I talked to two different people who said the Caesars discount was not combinable with the Latitudes discount.  Even if it is, it won't save me that much more because I have a 15% off credit from NCL cancelling a previous cruise that I would lose as well...  So I'm basically only getting an additional 5% discount if I can get them to use the Latitudes special offer.

My hope was that the Latitudes offer was combinable with both the previous 15% off AND the Caesars 20% off...  That would be a HUGE overall discount for sure.

I would call and specifically just ask them to add the code (at least that's what I did), maybe you can at least get the extra points? They DID have to rebook me, because they weren't able to "just add the code" for some reason.  but all the promos were the same so it didn't change anything AND the price reduced.   To be honest, I'm not sure what they did or how they made it work but I'm not complaining.  However, if you would have to rebook and lose the 15% off, then it may not be worth the hassle....

I'm pretty sure if I have to rebook, I would lose the 15% discount because it was a special deal where we had to rebook a cruise within X number of days from the last one being cancelled...  And after that deadline, the 15% was no longer valid.  Even if I lost it and gained the 20% off it would still save a bit more and sounds like I would gain an additional point per night too which would be awesome on an 11 night cruise.

I am not positive about the points--some people seem to have gotten both the points and the discount, and some just the discount.  But it never hurts to ask and see what happens!   Ours is a 14 day so the extra points would be awesome if I get them!

Thanks for the info again.. I've reached out to my "personal cruise consultant" in the Casino department as well.  Got lucky one day on the phone and got a really, really helpful guy in the casino department.  I asked if it was possible to get his email/direct ext./etc. to be able to just use him direct in the future.  I don't know why I didn't think to reach out to him in the first place.
