I saw the you tube video and it was pure conjecture of all cruise lines. On Royal, I can see the Majesty and maybe the Vision Class, but I can't, for the life of me, see selling off the Radiance Class. Of course, if the price was right, they could sell off any ship.

I have some extra cash available, anyone else in for making a purchase or two?

What is there, something like 2 million CC members?  $200 a piece and we have ourselves a cruise ship.!

Of course, we'd need to hire our resident Chief Engineer Cheng to run the darn thing.   And maybe elect our Host, Bob to be captain since I feel like he is captain of these boards.

Who is up for Cruise Director?

Sad but true I'm purchasing these ships, getting rid of the Casino and turning it into another lounge!  I'm renaming them the MS Cruise Critic Brillance, Majesty etc Of The Seas! All joking aside don't believe everything yiu read.

You could probably also squeeze in some extra staterooms if you eliminate the MDR...

Got to keep the MDR

One floor every night is formal night and no allowed unless wearing a tux or ball gown

Second floor wear everyone wears bathing suits and bath robes

or divide it down the middle with a big set of sheets held up by magnets

🙂 🙂 🙂

OMG there would be so much bickering, someone would be murdered on the first cruise:classic_tongue:

So the Cruise Director could count on a Murder Mystery for each cruise, then. Having entertainment prebooked will make it easier to recruit for the job.

Since some of us are often identified as a chorus of Royal cheerleaders, I guess we can audition for headliner nights, too.

All in all, can the bathrobes stay on the lower deck rather than on a balcony?

🙈

OBVIOUSLY we could run a cruise ship more successfully than any so-called "established cruise line."

How? We sre all diamond superior plus!  The lounge is full to overflowing.

One of things I would like to implement on our new cruise ship, team, is my new upcharge concept:

Weiners, Winers, and Whiners.

For $50 you get 50 minutes of unlimited hot dogs and wine, enjoyed while sitting around in a lounge with others complaining about the cruise.

We don't issue any OBC on our cruise, but if you give Guest Services a hard enough time about something stupid, you may get comped on the above experience.  Possibly to be repeated for an additional comped 50 minutes until you get drunk enough to pass out. Anything to shut you up and get you out of the GS line for a while.

Good point. I forgot to factor in Royal's creative new math with regard to pricing.

Put in a offer now if the price goes down you can renegotiate.  A good broker can negotiate a better price and perhaps offer you extras like  propulsion maintenance or pay for your first dry dock

Can I be in charge of chasing the chair hogs away?

Yes but that job is paid by commission: $1 for every chair recovered, $3 for every towel that we can now charge the guest for as "not returned."

You can also accept gratuities from guests on the spot who need that chair.

I don't plan on getting paid. I plan on being the person who lives on the ship with an emotional support animal. I'm just waiting for DW to agree to stay home and work to pay for this and cover my health insurance. I'm sure it won't be a problem.......🤣
