HMC Clamshells - Carnival

Recommended Posts

After reading here, I see that Carnival passengers can only reserve clamshells on HMC once onboard.  Approximately, how much are they to rent?   I'm doing some preliminary research for Spring Break; trying to decide between cabana, clamshell or staying on the ship.

Thanks!

Can anyone confirm that you can reserve these once you're on the ship?  Or do you wait until you get there?

Actually, when we were at HMC three weeks ago, you rented them on the island. Not onboard (excursion desk).

I've heard the clamshells can be extremely hot as there is no breeze blowing through them.  I have seen people use them with the back partially open to allow for a breeze.  Enjoy your cruise!
