Persian Garden perk - use of pass on day 1?

Hi all -

We're Elite and we will be sailing on Equinox.  I understand that one of the Elite perks is a 1 day pass to the Persian Gardens while the ship is "in port".  Do you know if this pass is valid on day 1 (embarkation)?  Also, does anyone have recent pricing for day/weekly passes?

No clue, however when we were in Aqua last summer on day 1 we went to see where the  Persian Gardens were and it was completely packed with people walking around, the door was actually propped open. I don't think it would be relaxing to be in tehre to actually use the loungers.

In my experience PG was not open on embarkation day for use.  It is open for tours and signing up for passes on embarkation day.  Technically, you might be able to use it, but with so many people coming in and out and talking, it wouldn't be very enjoyable IMO.

On our Edge b2b it was open, but until approx 6pm everyone could just walk in and sneak around. After that time only „personal tours“ with a spa attendant where able to get in.

we did enjoy it on embarkation day before dinner.
