Upgrade offer for Spa Mini-Suite - Is it worth it?

Recommended Posts

Definitely worth it!  We were in a spa mini-suite on our Panama Canal cruise and it was great being so close to the observation lounge.  And we spent a ton of time in the spa.  It was almost empty during the canal crossing and we spent hours in there while we went through the locks.  There are a lot of thermal loungers in the spa and it's at the back of the ship so it's very relaxing.  You would get a great deal if you could snag a spa mini-suite at the minimum bid.

Just got email about upgrade offer.  Considering $75pp for Spa Mini Suite on the Bliss.  What’s the advantage of a Spa Mini-Suite?  Is it worth $150?

If you intend to buy spa passes then any bid, up to the costs of the pass is worth it, because you are going to spend the mney anyway. If you do not plan on buying the spa pass it is probably not worth it because the main difference in a balcony and a spa mini suite is the size of the bathroom.

So,,, consider that minimum bids to specialty rooms rarely win. It is worth $400, so it would be a steal if you won.

We loved having the spa mini, we utilized the spa almost daily. If your not going to use it then maybe not worth it, depends on the type of cabin you have now $75 pp is a great price
