PV1 cabins on deck 6; port or stbd

Recommended Posts

Has anyone stayed in cabin 6092 or 6094?   Wondering if you hear noise from the Aquavit Terrace or World Cafe.  We are booked on the South America & Chilean Fjords Cruise next Feb on deck 5, stbd side.  From what I have read on Cruise critic, port side is a better place to be going west to east for the views.  Appreciate your comments.

We were on the 3/14/2019 Viking Sky voyage in 6090, and didn't encounter any noise or other issues due to the World Cafe above.

For our upcoming cruise, port side is the better side for views (Valparaíso to Buenos Aires) so we decided to change from a stbd. side cabin n deck 5  Just concerned if we would hear anything from deck 7.  Thank you for your comments.

We are also on the Starboard side in that direction, Beachvue.   We were told it would cost us to switch rooms (like an airline change fee?).  Were you able to do this at no charge (assuming you have the same type room)?   If so, did your travel agent or Viking do it?  Wondering if it was an exception?

Hoping it was easy to do.

No fee. Same category room.   Never heard of Viking charging a “fee” to change rooms.  We actually changed rooms twice on this cruise.

We were in 6091 and loved the room.  Only once or twice did we hear them move furniture on the outside deck but it wasn't at night or early morning.
