BPCL Grand Celebration update information

Recommended Posts

Just returned and have some information some may not know. t was different on the last one for New Years. Do not know if the same is on the Grand Classica. I am sure most or all will be the same. If you get free drinks, a casino match play and OBC here is what to expect. Let's say you get 5 free drinks. You pay 18% gratuity when you order a drink. Great deal. OBC is exactly that. It is removed from whatever total you owe. Now for the Casino match play. It is ONLY for table games NOT for the slots. Drinks. The frozen drinks are just awful just terrible. Here is why. I ordered a Miami Vice. What I got was red syrup poured in the glass, then a cream premix and ice from the blender. Yes rum also and the topper. The mixer was a cream not a Pina Colada premix. No coconut & pineapple taste at all, because there was none.  Zip zero. The correct way. Pina Colada and Strawberry Colada are made separate with the correct ingredients and then put on each side of the glass or swirled in. Took it back. Then they made me a Pina Colada. Same. Terrible. Tasted like cream and rum. Yuk. I took it back, got a Bahama Mama, that was already mixed in a plastic jar. Excellent. The next two were Long Island ice teas. Excellent. Now, they changed the bingo. It is not worth it. Before $25.00 and you played 3 separate games with 6 cards for each game. So a total of 18 cards. Now you get 7 cards for $25.00. You then receive a $5.00 voucher for the casino. To use it, you must sign up for the casino card. No charge. They play only one game. A cover all. Yes it is a larger amount for one game instead of three. But I would like to have a few chances to win some money. The slot tournament does not pay out cash. You get credits if you win to play the tables or the slots. So you pay $20.00 in hopes to win to play more. This is not the first cruise line to do this. So now you know the rest of the story!

Forgot to mention. Do not know when they started it. They now weigh your luggage and tag it before you enter the terminal. Your permitted luggage is 50 pounds or less per person.

I read your trip report and your pictures were great.

You are certainly welcome. Just follow my yellow brick road i show where to walk. A 5 min. walk. No transportation from the ship to the straw market. Wife always goes there an buys something. She enjoys it. I sit and hopefully they are playing music. When they are. really nice.
