Get a hole punched in our seapass cards!

That only works on some ships, unless you bring your own hole punch and know where to put the hole.

1.  Check out our dining room table assignment

2.  Head to the windjammer

3.  Go out on pool deck for people watching

4.  Short nap before muster drill if there is time!

Has anyone mentioned the Kummelweck roast beef ?  We generally go straight to the Park Cafe.    Gerry.

Depending on what time we board the ship if our cabin is ready we will head up and  jump up-and-down a few million times in  excitement.  check out our balcony and then disinfect everything and unpack if our bags are there . get down to laser tag and sign up check out the ship get ready for our Muster drill and sail away and of course somewhere in there we've gotta get something delicious. to drink

But not welcome aboard free champagne, as in first thing.

Nope, I've not seen Royal do that as a fleetwide policy.

I do not see Escape Room listed as an activity.  I am sailing on Anthem in Nov.  Is it ever possible to signup online?  Thanks

Sorry first time cruiser

They do appear in the activities section of the cruise planner, but I wasn't able to catch them there for our sailing, so that's why I ended up at the box office on day 1. If you are checking for your other entertainment, you might get lucky and find them pop up for your sailing.

have a great cruise.

Table number is on your SeaPass card.

This is only for traditional dining, correct?  It seems obvious, but sometimes that's not the case.

Go to the Windjammer for lunch, get a drink with an umbrella in it, find a place to sit and people watch until the cabin is ready, unpack as soon as my luggage arrives, muster drill, change clothes and freshen up, diamond club and then dinner.  Assuming several glasses of wine will have been consumed by this time I’ll be ready for bed after dinner.

1. Big Smile as I cross over the threshold onto my "Happy Place"

2. Foo Foo drink with an umbrella

3. Lunch

4. Start Exploring the ship

I still have 5 months to wait for this!

1. Straight to the Suite Lounge for a cocktail and bartender chit-chat.  Tip well.

2. Get to know the SL concierges & book CK for dinner all week.  Will cancel if I decide to dine elsewhere.

3. Go to Park Cafe for a kummelweck sandwich (repeat daily).

4. Off to pool deck.  Get to know bartenders at my go-to pool bar.  Tip well.

5. Take my drink topside for sail-away.

6. Off to cabin to unpack / get to know stateroom attendants.  Leave surprise gifts / tips out for when they come back for turn-down.

7. Casino to get to know dealers and host(s).

Surprise gifts? What kind of gifts do you leave? I like getting people gifts!

I live in San Francisco, so I try to give stuff from where I live.  We've got two local chocolate companies: Ghirardelli and See's Candies.  I'll put together little gift bags with a box of SF chocolates, a card I'll address by name, and a cash tip with the card.  Once I know my room attendants' names, I'll address the cards and leave them out where they have to stumble across it (usually on the floor just inside of the cabin door).  I've added other stuff, like golden gate bridge magnets or something else funky or fun I've found.

It gets occasionally mentioned here, but it needs more exposure.  The vast majority of the folks caring for you on your cruise work their butts off.  4-6 month contract, 12 hours a day, no days off unless you're working entertainment or stuff closed while in port or a bridge officer.  Treat 'em well!

Go to the MDR for MTD and pick a table for two in a location we like and request it for the entire cruise. Then head to the Schooner bar for our first drink of the cruise and chill out until they announce the cabins are ready.

Find the nearest bar and start taking advantage of my beverage package!  Then head to Solarium for lunch and start exploring the ship until our rooms are ready......:)

270 Cafe for food - all kinds of sandwiches and desserts - and nice view aft.   Then bumper cars for kids is a perfect call.   We did Anthem last week and the first day was the least busy for bumper cars.  Get there maybe 20 minutes early?   Super fun.

Great advice...gonna follow this on Anthem.
