Luggage storage near Long Beach cruise port

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Is there someplace to store luggage near the Long Beach cruise port?  We will probably explore for a while after our cruise before catching a 5 pm flight out of LAX.  Or a few years ago we used luggage express to send our bags to the airport.  I looked but it doesn't seem like luggage express is offered anymore?

What are your plans in Long Beach? Theres not really anything in the port that will store them but you could bring them over to the Queen Mary to store if you were using the facilities there. Otherwise I would bring them with and check them wherever you end up.

Luggage Express was bought by a company called Luggage Forward and they do things differently, maybe because of law changes. Luggage Forward will ship your luggage to your home, not deliver it to LAX.

Don’t think the Aquarium will hold luggage while you’re inside anymore. Could call and ask.

Could take a tour. Sun seeker is the usual go to company.

Thanks. I did contact the aquarium and they said they would hold our luggage.  We may do that or look into the tour.  Thanks!

If you are going to the aquarium, you can catch the free Passport shuttle bus out in front of the Queen Mary.  The pickup location is not too far from the cruise terminal.  http://www.lbtransit.com/Services/Passport.aspx

The busstop is located to the right of the terminal, in the parking lot under the trees.  There's usually a bus parked here because its the mandatory resting place for the drivers.
