On the Blue chip club section on the  Celebrity website it no longer lists a standard drinks package for Amethyst Members. Can anyone confirm this or are  drinks still free in the Casino.

It wasn't the actual Standard Package but meant drinks in the casino while playing. I've read several people say they were giving drinks to players at times. So maybe that's why they no longer list it if everyone gets it while playing.

Email BlueChip. You'll get an answer (a few days later)

Personally I won’t pay for drinks in a casino out of principle. Not a big drinker, but enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail or two per night. I think minimum perk for any casino patron should be drinks. 100,000 points for drinks is a bit much... This would not be a casino I would visit.

100k points is for Sapphire which gives you a free classic beverage package to use anywhere on the ship ($59/day + 20% gratuity value).

On Summit 2 weeks ago, they were giving free drinks in the casino for anyone playing.

If they are give free drinks to anyone playing that's different. It means they are following land based policies which I'm used to and appreciate.  I thought no free drinks in casino unless Sapphire.  I wonder if it was free drinks in the casino just on a per ship/sailing basis or a new policy - and if such they should specify it somewhere..

Classic package as an earned perk to use anywhere is great for those that have it.
