Norwegian Escape NYC sail away photos (8/11/19)

The weather was very nice yesterday afternoon with low humidity so I decided to take some photos of the ship from my vantage point on Staten Island near the bridge.  I was hoping to see the Celebrity Summit leaving as well with their temp color scheme but apparently they didn't depart until 7PM.

Pete, thanks for your photos. I was hoping you’d also gotten the Summit, decked out in rainbow flags. But yes, they didn’t sail till 7, and then went up past the Statue of Liberty.

Nice pics, but it really is an ugly ship, in my opinion.   It's sort of land hotel meets amusement park.  But then again, that describes most of the modern "ships".

I know what you mean.  The Celebrity Summit, that also sails out of NYC, seems to have cleaner lines for sure!  It'll be nice to compare this to the Norwegian Breakaway that I believe will be replacing the Escape sailing out of NY this coming winter.
